What if, after you get that long, long strip sewn together, you treated it like a jelly roll race quilt til you had twelve rows, then cut it into 12.5 sections. They'd all be different because of the shortness of the pieces. This might speed the process for you. Don't quote me because I've never tried it, but it seems like it could work. I recently went through my fabric stash of fat quarters and half yards (some 20+ yrs. old and still in beautiful condition) and cut it into different frequently used size strips. If I didn't have enough left for a 2" then 1 1/2" it was. I have a very good size box of this size and now I know just what to do with them. Thanks! :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6133065134728513362.post-13663278093858781422018-11-23T05:53:25.182-08:002018-11-23T05:53:25.182-08:00I love the idea of thin strips but I wonder about ...I love the idea of thin strips but I wonder about doing a jelly roll race type thing with the original long strip instead of blocks Joanne Minnienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6133065134728513362.post-58764276598562371722016-03-22T13:00:33.261-07:002016-03-22T13:00:33.261-07:00Wow!Wow!barbara woodshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07824180957906837061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6133065134728513362.post-67175851970940867872016-03-22T12:59:22.388-07:002016-03-22T12:59:22.388-07:00Wow!Wow!barbara woodshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07824180957906837061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6133065134728513362.post-28501132527105931622015-10-07T08:43:26.700-07:002015-10-07T08:43:26.700-07:00I know I'm late to the party, but I just found...I know I'm late to the party, but I just found this two minutes ago and it's SPECTACULAR!
