They Came. They Sewed. They Created HOPE

Our quilt-a-thon has come and gone. Yesterday was a great time cutting, sewing, pinning and celebrating. Winter sicknesses ate away some of our volunteers :( but the 9 people who came created 8 quilt tops. After a few minor glitches we moved pretty fast. I think everyone agreed that it was well worth 4 hours! The best thing is that almost every volunteer didn't even know how to quilt-and now they are interested in learning more and helping MHC. Currently, I have about 20 unfinished quilt tops. My goal for the rest of the month is to finish them all!
