Ahhh.......

Ahhh.....back to 'quilting without obligation'--no more deadlines, (except self imposed ones--which makes all of the difference doesn't it?) no more fundraiser meetings--things are looking up! Speaking of the fundraising dinner--it went well--here is what everything looked like on display.

You will never guess how much the Dr. Seuss quilt went for----$2500--two thousand and five hundred dollars!!!! Can you believe that?  Too bad no one would ever pay ME that much to make one :)

I started this baby quilt today---WHY? Well, when I finish it I will tell you--until then, have a wonderful week!

That quilt is good value at $25. Well done on the fundraising. I love the baby quilt in progress too.

The display is absolutely beautiful! It has to be a good feeling to have helped raise so much money for the school. $2500 is OUTSTANDING!!! Of course, you know who will be asked to make a quilt next year....

Fundraising is hectic and hard on the back! $2,500 is amazing but look at the quilt, that is really a work of art.

I would like to see a better view of the Dr. Seuss quilt; did you show it on another blog or in the archives?

Will you be showing the quilt again? I would also like to see a better view of it.

Sounds like the viewers know their Art and paid for it where you did your fundraiser. I guess one quilt covers the debts for many bills! Great idea.
